A trip to the mysterious Setomaa

Come to Setomaa to experience a different Estonia! The Setos have lived on the border of two cultures – eastern and western – for centuries. They have adopted customs from both worlds, but still preserved their own traditions. In Värska, we will walk on the promenade and visit Värska Orthodox Church. We will go through Saatse Boot (in the territory of Russia, which is why it is only allowed to drive through it) to Vana-Jüri soap shop. In Obinitsa, one group member will be dressed in Seto traditional clothes! We will taste Seto food and listen to Seto leelo (UNESCO cultural heritage). If desired, we can also visit Värska Farm Museum, Reegi House, Piusa Caves, Clay Studio, Seto Gallery, and Serga Chapel!
